My name is Karen Collier, and I am the owner, baker, and cake artist behind Frosting Artistry. I am very lucky to be doing what I love! I am a true Foodie, and I love cooking and baking for people. I learned to cook after I finished college. I was living alone and quickly tired of typical single-person meal prep. I opened Joy of Cooking and just dove in! I made every meal that I thought was challenging, and really enjoyed the experience of creating with food. Soon, I could prepare a gourmet dinner for a dozen friends.
A few years later, I applied this passion to baking and cake artistry. I immediately fell in love with the science of baking and the craft of cake artistry. There is just nothing like the feeling of getting to know a client and providing a beautiful edible centerpiece for their Big Day. It is such an honor! The sharing of food is love, and with a wedding cake, it is also art!
